Designed to compete with other upscale residential rental communities within the prestigious Memorial area of West Houston, The Fountains at Memorial City contains quality craftsmanship from top to bottom. The 9-story structure contains 114 individual residential units ranging in size from 933 SF to 3,714 SF. The property provides exciting amenities and each unit offers large rooms, luxurious finishes, quality appliances, and fixtures, private balconies, and covered parking.
Due to “tight” building lines, there was insufficient space to erect conventional scaffolding systems for the placement of exterior sheathing, waterproofing, masonry, plaster, and glazing systems. The problem was further acerbated by the large number of balconies interrupting the vertical planes of the exterior surfaces. The answer was a sophisticated system of 23 individual motorized scaffolding platforms continuously circling the entire structure in combination with engineered conventional scaffold systems cantilevered at balconies on multiple floors.
